Plain language — please read before posting reviews or listing a business.

1. Using FurryFik
FurryFik is a directory of pet services. You can browse without an account. You'll need an account to post reviews, save favourites, or list a business. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with how it works.
2. Your account
You're responsible for your account credentials. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or spam other users.
3. Reviews
Reviews must reflect your actual experience. We don't allow:
- Reviews of places you've never used
- Reviews written or paid for by the business
- Threats, hate speech, or personal attacks
- Sharing personal information of staff or other customers
We may remove reviews that violate these rules and ban repeat offenders.
4. Business listings
When you list a business:
- You confirm you're authorized to represent that business
- You confirm photos, descriptions, and prices are accurate
- You agree to keep info reasonably up-to-date
- You allow FurryFik to display the listing publicly and adjust formatting
FurryFik can edit, hide, or remove listings that violate our guidelines or contain false claims.
5. The "Verified" badge
The Verified badge means we confirmed the listed business is real and that the person managing the listing is the actual owner or authorized handler. It is not a quality endorsement.
6. Intellectual property
You own the content you submit (reviews, photos, descriptions). You grant FurryFik a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it on the site for as long as it's posted, plus a short period after for backup purposes.
7. We're a directory, not a marketplace
FurryFik does not transact, take payment, or guarantee services. When you contact a business, you're entering into an agreement directly with them. FurryFik isn't responsible for the quality of their work or any disputes.
8. Disclaimers
We try hard to keep listings accurate, but we don't warrant correctness. Use FurryFik at your own discretion. To the extent permitted by law, FurryFik is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the site.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes get an email to account holders. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
